Andersen.” The release features works by Danish composers that explore both the darkness and luminosity of Hans Christian Andersen’s famous stories.     CDN: Classical accordion? YCA artist Hanzhi Wang dazzles at the KenCen

    Ms. Wang’s appearance at the Terrace in this opening recital of YCA’s 2018-2019 Washington season was co-presented with Washington Performing Arts (WPA). In this, her DC debut, Ms. Wang dazzled all in attendance with her skills, her musicianship. She also offered the audience a surprisingly daring and eclectic repertoire in this (mostly) solo program.

    On October 11, 2018,Hanzhi Wang held her Washington Debut Concert in 'Terrace Theater' at the renowned Kennedy Center in USA. The program contained works by Bach, Gubaidulina, Mozart, Lohse and Moszkovsky, as well as Piazzolla's Tango Sensations with the wonderful Omer String Quartet. The concert received standing ovations from a full hall, and the reviews praised the performance.
